Getting "Invalid User Id or Password" Error When Launch Siebel Dedicated Client

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After upgraded Siebel from IP13 to Siebel 20.6, users encountered an error when logging into the Dedicated client in the upgraded environment.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Click on the Dedicated client logo to launch the application
2. Key in the credentials
3. Click on OK to login
