Applet "Search Box" Is Fetching All Records When User Manually Adds More Words To A Predefine Value

Symptoms
When users try to query for a specific record using the "Search Box" field available in List Applets such as in the Contact List Applet, if the user mistakenly adds any additional letters to any of the predefined values, the application will fetch all the records and data will not be filtered.
1- Go to Contacts > Contact List Applet for instance
2- In the Search Box, select "Last Name"
3- Enter "ABC1" and see that only records where Last Name is equal to "ABC1" are displayed as expected.
4- Now, In the Search Box, change "Last Name" to "Last Namessss" as shown below. All Contacts are returned and data is not filtered.
