Infinite Loop For Password Change In Siebel With LDAP Directory (Doc ID 2762205.1)

Symptoms

When password needs changed and password change view is presented to user, the view just returns after entering new password rather than changing and logging into application.

Siebel log entries as below:

15401 SecAdptLog API Trace 4 000011df601d00e8:0 2021-02-09 12:01:15 User xxxxxxxxxx password has been changed successfully.
15402 SecAdptLog API Trace 4 000011df601d00e8:0 2021-02-09 12:01:15 Unbind from LDAP server.
15403 SecAdptLog 3rdpartyTrace 3 000011df601d00e8:0 2021-02-09 12:01:15 ldap_unbind(3bb04878) returns 0.
15404 SecAdptLog Memory Mgmt Trace 5 000011df601d00e8:0 2021-02-09 12:01:15 LDAP SecurityFreeUser8, Security User=3ba840d0.
15405 SecAdptLog API Trace 4 000011df601d00e8:0 2021-02-09 12:01:15 Unbind from LDAP server.
15406 ObjMgrSessionLog ObjMgrLogin 3 000011df601d00e8:0 2021-02-09 12:01:15 [ReLogin] Begin: oldUser=GUESTCST, newUser=xxxxxxxxxxxx

It is seen in above entries that password is reset successfully using the LDAP user however the directory is still returiing password "Expired" state when relogin occurs.
