Email Campaign Launch is Failing with Errors SBL-BPR-00162 and 'com.siebel.sem.esd.EsdSoapException: Can't open template file' in ESD (Doc ID 2763883.1)

Symptoms

When executing a Campaign Launch, the following error is seen in the Campaign Task View.

Error invoking service 'Wave Execution', method 'SendOffers' at step 'Send Offers / Vendor Lists'.(SBL-BPR-00162)--One or more of the parallel tasks may have encountered an error.

In the esd.log file, we see the following error:

2021-03-25 11:40:45,591 ERROR c.s.s.c.u.l.Logger [http-nio-8090-exec-5] Encountered fault!

com.siebel.sem.esd.EsdSoapException: Can't open template file: \\<Folder Path>\siebfile\Marketing\Marketing\EmailOfferContent\<FILE NAME>.mime (The system cannot find the path specified)

To reproduce the issue, execute a Email Campaign Launch.


Due to this issue, the campaign launch does not complete and emails are not getting sent out.
