Navigation Issue After Upgrade To Chrome 89

Symptoms
The following navigation issue was reported with Siebel 15.18 and Chrome 89.0.4389.114
Clicking on any of the hidden screens/views provided on view bars (first level, third level) as lists does not immediately trigger navigation to the selected view, but requires another click anywhere on the screen to force the navigation. The aforementioned screens/views can be found by pressing the down arrow key at the right side of a view bar when there are more options available and shown as a list.
On the other hand, navigation to visible screens/views provided in view bars is working as intended.
