Information in this document applies to any platform.
When attempting to update to 21.2 or later for the Siebel web client (dedicated client), the patch fails and one of the following error(s) occur when trying the installer:
D:\xxx\xxx\xxx\Disk1\Oracle_Database_Client not found in the location of the image.Unable to continue installation.
D:\xxx\xxx\xxx\Disk1\Oracle_Database_SE2.zip not found in the location of the image.Unable to continue installation.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Download 21.2 or later media files.
2. Create the image.
3. Try to install 21.2 or later for Siebel web client.
