Symptoms

 

The ODBC Connection is failing with the following errors:

The issue is happening with the following steps, only on the custom environment:

  1. Configure the odbc data source using the IP address.
  2. Test the odbc connection or attempt to start the Siebel Server.
  3. The errors mentioned above were returned.

 

Changes

The environment was upgraded from Siebel 7 to Siebel 21.5
