BI Publisher Report Upload From Siebel Fails With "SBL-EAI-04117 Status code - 404" Error With Correct ContainerURL Configuration (Doc ID 2789292.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to upload reports from Siebel, the report upload fails.

In the XMLPReportServer.log, below errors will be seen when the report upload fails:

EAITransport EAITransportDebug 4 000000df60dd6425:0 2021-07-02 12:47:40 *** HTTP response Headers from Data Send request:
HTTP/1.1 404
...
ObjMgrLog Error 1 000000df60dd6425:0 2021-07-02 12:47:40 (httptransport.cpp (1815)) SBL-EAI-04117: HTTP Request error during 'Submitting Data SendHTTP request': 'Status code - 404'

catalina.out log shows below:

02-Jul-2021 02:25:23.008 SEVERE [main] org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.startInternal One or more listeners failed to start. Full details will be found in the appropriate container log file


localhost_date.log shows below:

02-Jul-2021 02:25:23.008 SEVERE [main] org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.listenerStart Exception sending context initialized event to listener instance of class [com.siebel.opcgw.cloudgateway.CGServletContext]

java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "$tlslistnerport"

Any attempt to use the CONTAINERURL to invoke outbound calls to BI Publisher will fail with HTTP-404 (not found). And any call to functionality that uses CONTAINERURL leads to HTTP 404

Changes

Patch up to 21.2 or higher.
