UPT Not Tracking On SetAttribute Application Event (Doc ID 2793123.1)

Symptoms

Application level SetAttribute is not capturing the Profile Attribute values from Usage Pattern Tracking screen

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

 

1)Enable UPT as per the below document.

Configuring Usage Pattern Tracking (UPT) (Doc ID 2259206.1)

2)Create System Preference As below

System Preference Name: UPTEEE3

System Preference Value: SetAttribute

3)Add UPTEEE3 for 'UPTEndToEndEventsList'

System Preference Name: UPTEndToEndEventsList

System Preference Value: UPTEEE1,UPTEEE2,UPTEEE3

4)Perform server bounce to take system preference changes to take affect

5)Create new Runtime event as below.

Object Type: Application

Object Name: Siebel Universal Agent

Event: SetAttribute

Action Set Name: UPT

Note: Reload Runtime events

6)Set any Profile Attribute in application level and deliver the changes i.e Application_Start event

7)Login back to application and check Profile attribute is tracking from Usage Pattern Tracking screen
