When attempting to access Siebel Management Console (SMC) post installing IP2017 and later, the login fails and the following error shows up in SMC login:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Installed Siebel IP2017 or later
2. After successful installation, startup applicationcontainer_internal and applicationcontainer_external
3. Login to Siebel Management Console (SMC) and check if the login is successful
New Installation of IP2017 or later on Unix/Linux platform
