Siebel SMC Login Fails Post Install And "Error occured while parsing siebsrvr property file or config data is missing in that file applicationinterface.properties (No such file or directory)" Error Seen In CommonLogger.log (Doc ID 2797495.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to access Siebel Management Console (SMC) post installing IP2017 and later, the login fails and the following error shows up in SMC login:


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Installed Siebel IP2017 or later
2. After successful installation, startup applicationcontainer_internal and applicationcontainer_external
3. Login to Siebel Management Console (SMC) and check if the login is successful

New Installation of IP2017 or later on Unix/Linux platform
