Error: "Overlapping Controls Have Been Detected" While Using 'Edit Web Layout' in Siebel Web Tools (Doc ID 2803831.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to change a position of a Form Applet control in the Web Layout Editor, the following error occurs in the Web Tools UI:

Overlapping Controls Have Been Detected


STEPS
----------

  1. Login in Siebel Web Tools
  2. Create a Workspace and Expand the Applet Object on the left
  3. Go to Applet Web Template and select the Template
  4. Click on the Edit/ Pencil icon
  5. Try to change the position of a Control


 

Changes

 Performed the Siebel version Upgrade to 20.x release
