Symptoms

When using Siebel application object manager to send an Outbound REST call to an external system, an error occurs:

Steps to reproduce:

1. Receive a 3rd party JSON file with is OpenAPI 2.0 compliant.

2. Launch Siebel Tools to import the JSON file to create the proxy Integration Objects and Business Services for the Outbound REST API. For more information on this step, please follow instructions from

Siebel Bookshelf > REST API Guide > Chapter 7 Using Siebel REST Outbound Services > Section titled "Creating an Outbound REST Service Based on an Open API Compliant JSON File"

3. Deliver the objects into the workspace.

4. Log into Siebel Client UI, navigate to the Business Service Administration screen > Simulator View and simulate the proxy business service created for this Outbound REST API call.

5. During the Client UI simulation, the reported error occurs.
