SCBroker/EProd Socket's Not Closing and Causes Intermittent Connection Issues (Doc ID 2809068.1)

Symptoms

On EProd Object manager customer is seeing intermittent connection issues which is causing the process to fail. At this time they see TK_SOCKETS  higher than 2, Normally sockets open between SCbroker and Eprod should close after a process is cleared and should not increase in count.

Note: Dmp taken from the time when the AOM was in a hung status. A wait on mswsock!WSPSelect is seen and this function is related to Microsoft windows(OS).
