HTML Report not Displayed After Script Finishes Playing on Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer Browsers

Symptoms
When running a test automation script in Web Browsers Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer, the HTML report page expected at the end of the execution is not showing.
The same test script executed in Chrome works fine.
The behavior should be the same on all browsers. The report page should open.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Execute a Test Script in Chrome and confirm it works and the report page is shown once the script completes.
2. Re-execute it in Internet Explorer or Edge and confirm the report page does not display.
