Symptoms
Update from 20.2 to 21.7 fails when attempting to create the backup directory in a mount point. It is expected for the installer to either skip creating the backup directory or create it in another location.
Installation process is interrupted with the following error :
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Start Siebel 21.7 update, where the Siebel Components are installed on mount points
2. Installer attempts to create a backup folder
3. Installation fails
