EAI XSLT Service With XSLT Output Encoding UTF-16 Generates Incorrect XmlCharEncoding UTF-8 Causes Errors SBL-BPR-00162, SBL-EAI-04110, and SBL-EAI-00134 (Doc ID 2812742.1)

Symptoms

After updated the Siebel environment from 21.1 to 21.6,  the "EAI XSLT Service" business service > Transform method generates incorrect value for the XmlCharEncoding output argument.  The XmlCharEncoding value is UTF-16 in version 21.1 which is correct, but it's set to UTF-8 in version 21.6 which incorrect.

It leads to the following error in the subsequent step of business service "EAI XML Converter" or "XML Hierarchy Converter" in the object manager log file:

 

Similar error also occurs with Remove Blank Tag UTF-16 workflow.



Changes

Updated from Siebel 21.1 to Siebel 21.6.
