Test Automation not Capturing Alerts from Business Service LS Pharma Signature UI Service

When attempting to play back a test automation script that involves a call to standard business service "LS Pharma Signature UI Service" as a server script
the following error occurs.
"No alert present exception. Thrown when switching to no presented alert.This can be caused by calling an operation on the Alert() class when an alert is not yet on the screen."
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Record a script that navigates to custom applet MAS L1 All Appeals List Applet and presses a button which invokes business service "LS Pharma Signature UI Service" as a server script
2. A popup window to confirm/cancel is displayed.
3. Press either confirm or cancel.
4. save the script and play it back. the playback fails.
