ESD Is Not Sending SMTP Authentication Parameters To STMP Server Causing The Error "530 Authentication required" (Doc ID 2814744.1)

Symptoms

ESD is not sending SMTP Authentication parameters when SMTP Authentication is enabled.

In the esd.log the following is seen:



  • Run a test from the Siebel Application:

    - Go to Offers and create an Offer, Email Treatment, and Email Treatment Template

    - Go to Campaigns > Design > Offer > Email Treatment and add the Offer and Treatment created above

    - Test it using "Test Treatment" menu option
