Siebel Test Automation: Play Exits with Exception: Cannot find elements when the XPath is null. (Doc ID 2817354.1)

Symptoms

Test Automation is not playing the entire recorded scenario and exiting.

Following error in seen in Report_with_error.html


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure Test Automation using Innovation Pack 17.0 Siebel Test Automation (Doc ID 2396540.2)
2. Refer to Record/Play Tab
3. Record user navigation
4. Play the scenario capture it does not complete all steps and generates test error report
