Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl + F For Find Function Does Not Work Properly For Script Editor In Siebel Web Tools (Doc ID 2822647.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 19, 2021

Applies to:

Siebel Tools - Version 20.12 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Siebel Web Tools Script Editor, when press Control + F (Ctrl + F) keys in a keyboard to use the Find feature,  it only finds the text on the active window and not anything beyond.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into Siebel Web Tools

2. Create or Open a workspace by clicking the Create or Open button under Workspace Dashboard

3. Query for an object with scripts.  For example, a business service with some custom scripts that have nine "case" blocks under Service_PreInvokeMethod

4. Choose Edit Server Scripts from the applet menu

5. Once the scripts are loaded in the Script Editor for Service_PreInvokeMethod, press Ctrl + F keys to use the Find feature

6. In the Find Text box, enter 'case'

7. It shows the result 1/3 and highlighted three 'case' strings only.  In the scripts, there are nine "case" blocks.
