CTI Set Ready/Set Not Ready Popup Cannot Be Closed Upon Clicking a Link (Symbolic URL) (Doc ID 2822653.1)

Upon clicking a link (Symbolic URL) a popup is showed , try to set the status to Not Ready in the CTI Toolbar - the status is changed but the screen popup(Set Ready/Set Not Ready) cannot be closed.

Symptoms


After creating a Symbolic URL on a new View, if CTI agent has the Siebel CTI Toolbar and while on the view , open the Symbolic URL pop up window and close it -  Siebel CTI Toolbar Not Ready reason code applet pops up, notice the Not Ready reason code applet can not be closed anymore
CTI does execute the command to go Not Ready correctly in this case , but the pop up windows can not be closed anymore.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Login to Siebel Application
2. Navigate to a view which has a custom Symbolic URL
3. Open the Symbolic URL which open a pop up windows for another Application
4. Close the Symbolic URL
5. Now click on Not Ready button on CTI Toolbar
6. The Not Ready reason code pop up show up
7. Select a reason code and click OK.
8. The user goes to Not Ready on the phone as expected, but the Not Ready pop up applet is never closed user can not use Siebel anymore, he need to logout and login back.
