Siebel Assignment Manager Taking Longer Than Expected To Assign an Object To Candidates (Doc ID 2827007.1)

Symptoms

When trying to "Assign" an object such as Service Requests in the UI, the process is taking between 15 to 25 seconds to complete.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1- Create an Assignment Rule from Administration - Assignment

2- Add the Criteria as needed

3- Add 3 Candidates in the Employee Candidates view

4- In the Service Request view, click in "Assign"

5- This custom button invokes a Workflow Process that calls the method "Assign" of the Business Service "Synchronous Assignment Manager Requests"

6- It takes between 15 to 25 second for the process to complete
