When Patching to 21.x Where All Modules Are in the Same Folder, GUI Installer Hangs at 100% (Doc ID 2833514.1)

Symptoms

Siebel 21.5 Environment where all modules are installed at the same time is Patched to Siebel 21.10 and the installer hangs at 100%.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install Fresh Siebel 21.5 Environment where all modules are installed at once (AI+SES+GW+Client+Tools under the same folder).
2. Patch Siebel to 21.10 version.
3. Installer hangs at 100%.

 

Changes

A Siebel 21.x environment that has all the modules (AI/SES/GTW) installed under the same folder is patched to a higher version using the GUI Installer.
