Siebel Test Environment Upgrade Sends Error S_LST_OF_VAL_U3 and/or S_LST_OF_VAL_U4 ORA-01418: Specified Index Does Not Exist (Doc ID 2834789.1)

Symptoms


When attempting to upgrade Siebel QA/Test environment from 15.5 to Siebel 21.11 , two errors related to indexes S_LST_OF_VAL_U3 and S_LST_OF_VAL_U4 were displayed in the siebel-root\siebsrvr\log\upgrep_prod_155\output\upgwiz_04.log upgrade log file:

SQLError Statement 0 0000000261cc2b88:0 2021-12-29 20:29:10 SQL Statement:
  drop index S_LST_OF_VAL_U3DBCLog DBCLogError 1 0000000261cc2b88:0 2021-12-29 20:29:10 [tp][ODBC Oracle driver][Oracle]ORA-01418: specified index does not exist

 


Steps to reproduce the error:

  1. Upgrade Siebel QA/Test Database from 15.5 to 21.11 (See Siebel Database Upgrade Guide 21.11 > Chapter 13 Performing a Siebel Incremental Repository Merge).
  2. The upgrade will be cancelled informing S_LST_OF_VAL_U3 or S_LST_OF_VAL_U4 indexes do not exist in one of upgwiz_nn.log files.

Changes

 Upgrade Siebel Database from IP15.5 to 21.11.
