Does Replication Agent (RepAgent) Component Support Having the Parameter "Default Tasks" Increased?

For instance if seeing that RepAgentis taking long time to apply changes - can its parameter "Default Tasks" be increased (- to 2 or 3 instead of the Default value = 1)?
