Symptoms

When attempting to install 21.7 Monthly Update on top of existing 18.10 installation of Siebel Remote server it is taking taking forever in the following step:

Copying new files from existing home to new home

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply Siebel patch for application server and other components on the Siebel Remote server
2. Check if applying the patch this process keeps loading.
