Siebel Gateway Configuration Fails With Invalid Gateway Hostname/Port While Performing a Fresh Installation (Doc ID 2857199.1)

Symptoms

While setting up the Gateway the following error is returned:

 

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Install binaries (by following the Installation Guide > Installing Siebel CRM in a New Installation)
2. Install the Siebel database schema. (by following the Installation Guide > Installing the Siebel Database)
3. Access the Siebel Management Console (e.g. https://<FQDN>:<AI_PORT>/siebel/smc)
4. Set up Gateway
