Symptoms

When attempting to use Inline Attachment Editing or F9 with MS Outlook using DISA the following error show up in Siebel Web Client:

Currently users are using DISA 2.16 on Internet Explorer 11 browser where it works fine but customer are moving to Edge browser and DISA 22.2

After update DISA 2.16 to DISA 22.2 and use Edge/Chrome browser the error show up, but not for the users which did not change from IE 11 to Edge browser.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Install DISA 22.2 over DISA 2.16 existing installation for a workstation

3. Click F9 which is setup to use MS Outlook

4. The MS Outlook client does not open a new item and the following error above is observed.

Changes

Update DISA from 2.16 to 22.2 and use Edge/Chrome browser instead of IE 11.
