Calling RetrieveAttachmentService Business Service From A Custom Physical Renderer Generates Error “Unsupported property set value type” in Siebel Application (Doc ID 2858013.1)

Symptoms

When calling the vanilla RetrieveAttachmentService business service to get an attachment based on an account using a custom Physical Renderer in Open UI, it failed with some errors. This business service works fine in the business service simulator.

ERROR:

Unsupported property set value type: 2, then after clicking ok for the error, Invalid encoded property set string

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a custom PR file (attachmentRetrievalErrorTestPR.js) under \ai\applicationcontainer_external\siebelwebroot\scripts\siebel\custom directory.  Here is an example:
