Stateful Inbound Webservice Request fails Intermittently with Error: Session Token Is Missing Or Invalid Or Has Expired (Doc ID 2864166.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from IP15 to Siebel 21.9, inbound web services for Mobile user connections are failing intermittently.

The error message that occurs with this issue is:

AI Application container>EAI OM log



The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Create an Inbound Web Service on the Siebel application side.

The instructions from the following documentation was followed to perform initial configure/set up step:

Siebel Bookshelf > Siebel Integration Platform Technologies:Siebel Enterprise Application Integration Guide > 5: Web Services > section "Invoking Siebel Web Services Using an External System"

2. Configure a mobile application for users to login, which will invoke the inbound web service call.

3. In Production, some of these mobile user logins work fine while others are failing to get connected.
