Gateway Cluster Deployment Fails With "Submit Failed" status in SMC on Solaris 11.4 (Doc ID 2871979.1)

Siebel CRM - Version 17.0 [IP2017] and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

Symptoms

When attempting to deploy cluster gateway, the following error occurs in Siebel Management Console:

Submit Failed


Reviewing the logs at the time of the failure, the following could be identified:

cloudgateway.log in Primary Node



STEPS:
1. Upgrade Siebel application and all gateway nodes from IP15 to 22.1
2. Log in to SMC
3. Set up a Gateway Cluster profile
4. Attempt to deploy the Gateway Cluster profile
