Siebel Database Wizard Removes the Existing ODBC Data Source (DSN) from .ODBC.INI File (Doc ID 2874603.1)

Symptoms

The environment has been already configured and operational, but if the Siebel Database Wizard is executed to add an additional language it drops the existing ODBC DSN in the .odbc.ini and leaves it as it was configuring the environment for the first time.

Once the .odbc.ini file gets modified it breaks the Siebel Server database connectivity from that point on.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Existing Siebel installation has the following contents in the .odbc.ini file
