TypeError Upon Accessing Siebel Manifest Administration Views (Doc ID 2875488.1)

Symptoms

Upon accessing the “Manifest Administration” view, the application throws an error in the browser [(TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘stype’)].

After the error is acknowledged (with OK button), the application shows the view with blank white applets.

Commands/buttons on the applet are available, but when the applet’s buttons are pressed, in order to run a query, the applet content doesn’t change, or when add a record is attempted, the application doesn’t show the typical new record placeholder.


The issue can be reproduced at through the following steps:
1. Go to Site Map

2. Search and select "Manifest administration" view

3. View not displayed correctly and the following error displayed:

(TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘stype’)

Changes

Configuration changes to "UI Object List Applet" and "UI Object Expression List Applet".
