Configurator Script Not Executed When Using Remote Product Configurator (Doc ID 2887580.1)

Symptoms

When enabling the Remote Product Configurator by setting the Application Object Manager(AOM) component parameter "Product Configurator - Use Remote Service" to True, the Configurator script using TheApplication().RaiseErrorText is not getting executed and displayed properly.

Now, when the "Product Configurator - Use Remote Service" is set to False. The message is displayed properly:

 

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Go to Administration - Products > Product Definition and create a new product.

2. Navigate to the Product Workspace and on the Script tab and add the following script:

 

3. Validate the product.

4. TheApplication().RaiseErrorText is not getting executed and displayed properly.

5. Now, if you set the AOM parameter "Product Configurator - Use Remote Service" to False. Then the message was displayed as expected as show above.
