Symptoms
When attempting to execute the Post Installation Database utility in 22.7 the following error occurs:
The summary report of the utility shows the TaskUpgrade step in red which usually implies failure, but all the steps are completed as shown in PostInstallDBSetup_<timestamp>.html:
Additionally, the Exit Code 14 is seen in PostInstallDbSetup_<timestamp>.log:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply 22.7 patch as an update installation.
2. Execute the Post Installation Database utility.
