Punctuation / Dot Character Removed From Email Sent Out With ESD (Doc ID 2893287.1)

Symptoms


After upgrade to 22.1, the punctuation / dot character is being removed in emails sent out from campaigns in Siebel.
The issue was reproduced in 22.5 standard application using steps:

 
1. Login to call center application and navigate to Site map-> Offers -> Treatment templates. Create a new template based on html document containing text and linsk to images.  

2. Navigate to Offers , create a new offer. In the Treatment applet create a new treatment of type Email treatment.

3. Drill down on the treatment and create a new email template record on which add treatment template created in step 2.

4. Navigate to Site map-> Campaign management and create  a new campaign.

5. Drill down on the campaign, select Design view and associate and offer and treatment.

6. Select Segment/Lists applet and associate a list wiht a contact with valid email address.

7. Select Allocation applet and enter 100 percent for the treatment, then press Update count.

8. Push Load campaign button

9. Select Campaign -> Execute view and after load is completed push Launch wave button.

10. Check email received after campaign is launched.

The email template contains an image. In the source html the link is given as:
 
src="https://www.abc.no/images/abc-1.png"

But in the email sent by esd the link of the image is missing a dot after 'abc'  and image is not displayed.
