Siebel BI Publisher Report Generation Fails With "SBL-EAI-50228: File could not be created as the directory specified for the file creation is not valid" Error In XMLPReportServer Logs (Doc ID 2893427.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to generate BI Publisher reports from Siebel on any versions 8.1.1.10 and higher, the report generation might fail and the the following errors will be seen in the XMLPReportServer logs under $SIEBEL_ROOT/siebsrvr/log (WINDOWS) or $SIEBEL_ROOT/siebsrvr/enterprises/enterprisename/siebelservername/log (UNIX) directory:
