Last updated on FEBRUARY 23, 2023

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a user logs into Siebel Client UI and navigates to the Administration - Workflow Monitoring Configuration list applet, they are able to make modifications to the workflow process definition. However, this not expected/not the designed behaviour, as workflow process changes should only be made in Siebel Tools or Siebel WebTools.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Log into Siebel Client UI.

2. Administration - Workflow Monitoring Configuration list applet

3. Modify the name of one the workflow listed and step off the record

4. The workflow process name is now modified. However, this is not expected and any changes to the workflow process name should be made only in Siebel Tools or Siebel WebTools.
