Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2022

Applies to:

Siebel Public Sector Service - Version 16.19 [IP2016] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Siebel application receives Inbound REST calls in a javacontainer and invokes a custom script to process the incoming message.

The custom script has not changed at all.

However, recently, the Inbound REST calls start to return an error message.

The following error message occurs in the OPR_IAM_PSSRESTObjMgr_enu_0014_14680074.log file:

The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Create a custom business service 'PPT Utilities' method 'SetCurrentPriceList' that queries for price list.

2. Compile this into the SRF file and update the SRF file to the Siebel server.

3. Invoke this 'PPT Utilities' invoke method: 'SetCurrentPriceList' to run.

4. The reported error message is returned.
