Symptoms

When attempting to integrate Siebel Application with BI Publisher (BIP) and trying to access BIP with siebel security credentials the following error occurs in the bipublisher.log.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Migrate Siebel from on-premise to OCI using Cloud Manager. For further details refer to the document below:
Using Siebel Cloud Manager to Deploy Siebel CRM on OCI (Doc ID 2828904.1).
2. Lift and shift are complete.
3. Have BIP running on OCI.
4. Follow the steps described in:
Siebel Reports with Oracle BI Publisher 12c (Doc ID 2332902.1).

Changes

 Migrated Siebel from on-premise to OCI using Siebel Cloud Manager.
