Rebase Merge Report Doesn't Show All Modified Objects (Doc ID 2909652.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 29, 2024

Applies to:

Siebel Tools - Version 21.12 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When rebasing an integration workspace from MAIN that has a large number of object updates the merge report doesn't show all objects that were updated as part of the rebase.
The RTC Object Publisher (S_RTC_MOD_OBJ) for the child integration workspace appears to correctly show the updated/inserted objects while the Workspace Merge Log Objects (S_WS_MG_LOGOBJ) contains significantly less object modifications.

The object in the child integration workspace has been updated as part of the rebase (example object is a custom business service with a server script with an additional two lines of code)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Have an integration WS with Business Service Script Changes
2. Have changes in MAIN WS after integration WS was created in same Business Service Script
3. Perform integration WS rebase with MAIN
4. Not all changes are reported in merge reports or Table S_WS_MG_LOGOBJ

A query against S_WS_MG_LOGOBJ is being used to check the changed objects.
