Modifying The "Comments" Field For Standard Tables Is Not Permitted In Tools (Doc ID 2910557.1)

Symptoms

When trying to add a comment or edit an existing one on a Standard table it is noticed that the Comments field is read-only.

 

It is observed that for custom tables the Comments field is editable.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Siebel Tools.
  2. Create a DEV workspace.
  3. Query for a standard table. (e.g. S_WORKSPACE)
  4. Try editing the Comment field.
