Error SBL-DAT-00225 When Trying to Create an LOV Using REST API (Doc ID 2911130.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create an LOV using REST API, the following error occurs.

ERROR": "Method 'SetFieldValue' of business component 'List Of Values' (integration component 'List Of Values') for record with search specification '[Type] IS NULL AND [Name] IS NULL AND [Language Name] IS NULL AND [BV Organization] IS NULL AND [Sub Type] IS NULL' returned the following error:\"The value entered in field BV Organization of buscomp List Of Values does not match any value in the bounded pick list PickList LOV Type Organization.(SBL-DAT-00225)\"(SBL-EAI-04451)"

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Upload or create LOVs using, for example, an external tool such as SOAP UI.

        Use the UpsertLOV method of the LOV Import Service, which is updated in both DR and RR environments.
        Define the following key attributes in the DR environment because they dictate where the LOVs will be created - these attributes are optional and can be ignored for RR environments (which only have a MAIN workspace):
            WorkspaceName. The name of the workspace where LOVs will be imported to.
            ParentWorkspaceName. The parent workspace name under which the workspace resides. For Example:
