Symptoms

When using Web Tools Client UI to simulate a workflow process, sometimes it generates an error when the Siebel server services has been restarted.

The following error message occurs in the Web Tools Client UI:


The behaviour occurs as follows:

1. Restart the Siebel server services

2. Check the Siebel Web Tools OM and confirm it is back online

3. Log into Web Tools UI

4. Select a workflow process and start the workflow simulation

5. Here, the workflow simulation may work or sometimes it may generate the reported connection error
