Symptoms
When attempting to configure Gateway security profile with Database Authentication (Advanced Mode), the profile fails to deploy and the following error occurs.
The issue can be replicated using below steps:
1. Login to Siebel Management Console (SMC) using correct credentials.
2. Configure the security profile for Gateway in the Create Gateway Security Profile.
3. Select Database Authentication (Advanced Mode) and provide details like below and click Next.
4. Submit the profile by clicking on Save button after entering all the parameters for the gateway security profile to use advanced mode database authentication.
