EIM Import LOV.IFB Job Does Not Load Values to S_LST_OF_VAL.WS_INACTIVE_FLG Column in RR environments. "Required Columns" Errors May Occur (Doc ID 2929183.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 10, 2023

Applies to:

Siebel CRM - Version 22.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to import rows into siebel S_LST_OF_VAL table using the LOV.IFB EIM job in RR environments, the job executes successfully, but blanks are loaded to WS_INACTIVE_FLG column  instead of an 'N'.
If the siebel EIM_LST_OF_VAL.LOV_WS_INACTIVE_FLG contains blanks, the job runs successfully. If EIM_LST_OF_VAL.LOV_WS_INACTIVE_FLG column contains NULLS, the LOV.IFB job fails as following:

EIM*.log

These rows could not be inserted into the destination base table because some of the required columns did not have values. Check that all columns which are required in the base table have values in the interface table.

The following steps can be executed to reproduce the behavior:

1. Load siebel EIM_LST_OF_VAL table using custom commands, scripts or database utilities.
2. The <siebel-root>\ses\siebsrvr\admin\LOV.IFB job $WS_INACTIVE_FLG variable can be set up to 'N', either at job header or in the Call or Exec commands. The job execution does not add values to WS_INACTIVE_FLG column in S_LST_OF_VAL table in RR environment in any case.

Excerpt of the default LOV.IFB job:

to see that WS_INACTIVE_COLUMN contains blanks.
