Symptoms
When attempting to create a function based index and apply the changes to the repository leads to Siebel Tools crashing after a patch update from 22.8 to 23.1.
The detailed siebdev.log shows the below information:
6. Click APPLY/DDL button > Generate DDL option.
7. Provide information to Apply Schema (Tablespace, Index space, Database User, Database Password, ODBC Datasource and DDL file).
Note: There is no crash or FDR file generated.
Changes
Update installation from 22.8 to 23.1.
