Getting Error "Validation failed - Review and Correct Security Profile Data" While Creating Gateway Security Profile Using SMC In Safe Mode (Doc ID 2930524.1)

Symptoms

A Siebel database upgrade was done from Oracle 12c to 19c. and a new Gateway Security profile was created in SMC to reflect the upgraded database connection and this got saved without errors.

After completing the above step there was a business requirement to revert the Database settings in Gateway Security profile to point to previous version - Oracle 12c. These change was not saved and an error was seen.

 

Changes

Siebel Database upgraded from Oracle 12c to Oracle 19c.
