Symptoms
When attempting to login to BIP Server with Siebel Admin Credentials, the login fails and below error is seen in the bipublisher.log:
Steps to reproduce the issue :-
1. Setup Siebel with BI Publisher integration as per Doc ID: 2332902.1 - Siebel Reports with Oracle BI Publisher 12c
2. Once installed, login as superuser and navigate to Administration >> Security Configuration and select the security model as "Siebel Security" and provide Siebel endpoint URL, Administrator Username and Password.
3. Login to BI Publisher with Siebel credentials to see if the login is successful
