When Running RepositoryUpgrade Utility with -6 Y Flag to Check Schema Changes, it Drops Custom Columns and Indexes (Doc ID 2940915.1)

Symptoms

When running RepositoryUpgrade utility with -6 Y switch in order to check changes to be applied in schema, it was observed that all custom columns and indexes were dropped.

The instructions on how to run the RepositoryUpgrade utility are found in the Siebel Bookshelf Guide - Database Upgrade - Running the RepositoryUpgrade Utility.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. To independently apply RepositoryUpgrade schema changes run RepositoryUpgrade.exe with the -6 and -n input arguments set to Y, for example, as follows:
